Highlighting the selective properties of carbamoylmethylphosphonated hydrosoluble polymers for Gd(III)/Th(IV)/U(VI) separation

In this work, the investigation of thermosensitive behavior P(CPAAm6C) highlighted formation particles with an average radius about 1940 nm in nitric acid. While hP(CPAAm6C) does not exibit behavior, it was shown polymer had floculation properties. Sorption results Qmax(U) 2.75 Moreover, different selectivities between carbamoylmethylphosphonate and carbamoylmethylphosphonic diacid functions. phase separation selectivity will great interest for design a future environmental-friendly process hydrometallurgical treatments rare earth ores.
